What Our Students Say
Marvi Soomro
GSIS Batch of 2008She pursued an undergraduate in Computer Science and worked in the corporate sector for 4 years before developing her own program to teach and empower children in northern areas of Pakistan. The values taught at GSIS have helped me to realize the finer things in life. I now work with children in Misgar in the Hunza Valley and run a programme called 'Innovate. Educate. Inspire Pakistan' (IEI Pakistan), built on the ideology of innovation, education and inspiration and recruited volunteers. GSIS has a big role in developing my ideology. My teachers and administration have given me strength and empowerment, which I carry with me wherever I go.
Ammar Ali Ayub
GSIS Batch of 2012He has been a very passionate student who would always keep himself busy in all school activities. He would always aim high for himself and that is why after completing A’ Levels he went to LUMS and has been extremely busy over there in social activities. He played a pivotal role as the president of the student counsel. <br/> “Currently, I am the CEO of an Educational Technology company, Nearpeer Ltd. We aim to revolutionize the education process through this platform by creating online courses and a friendly ecosystem among parents, students, & Teachers. This track of entrepreneurship is not easy, but I am proud to mention that GSIS has helped me to become an entrepreneur by providing me the opportunities to explore myself, take risks, and demonstrate leadership skills at a very young age. The skills I polished at GSIS are the only best things that still remain part of my personality upon which I've learned to capitalize well.”

GSIS Batch of 2011He was self-motivated and confident boy. Participated equally well in academics and sports. He achieved 7 A*in O’ Level and 4 A* & 1 A in A’ Level. He did Mechanical Engineering from NUST. Presently working at the largest FMCG Company. “I have had an experience of 4 dramatic and passionate years at GSIS. The quality that clearly gives an edge to GSIS over other institutes I have attended is that at this exhilarating place, one can grasp the peak of studies, sports and fun simultaneously. The exuberant sports facilities provided to us tend to pluck out the best athletic aptitude in a student. None the less, the committed and steadfast efforts of the affable teachers leave no reason for one to not gain distinctive grades. In my final year, I was met with some unorthodox support from my school when it was time for my college applications. The principal, Madam Quratulain, helped me out with such inspiring dedication that sometimes it felt like it wasn't me but she who was applying! Due to this, I was offered an admission at McGill University. Later on, I graduated from NUST as a Mechanical Engineer. Currently, I am working as an MTO at the world's largest FMCG Company. I have GSIS to thank for so many things; the belief that the institution put in me being on the very top.”
